Beautifully painted and produced in Canton in the late 18th century. These paintings were skillfully painted on the reverse side of the glass. These are incredibly fragile remnants of the past. As exoticism took hold during the mid 18th century, there was a high demand in Georgian England for paintings of native Chinese figures &
